Wow! Almost an entire year has gone by!

Busy mom, busy life! I just have not had the time or drive to post in the past year! Yikes! No dramatic changes have taken place (is that a good or bad thing?), but little things along the way have morphed slightly!

As always seems to happen, I find myself residing on a new parenting board...most of the same people, just a different HOMe! I treasure that I get to be apart of these wonderful moms (and a dads) lives and to watch their children grow up. We share our pains, our triumphs, and our little amusing struggles through every day life that only a fellow parent can relate to and appreciate. I couldn't' choose better people to share my day with!

I still have distant hopes of becoming this fabulous knitter! But, while finishing the scarf that only took me a year to make (gasp!), I realized that this is not a hobby one with an almost 2 yr old undertakes. It could have been the fact that he pulled all of my stitches off the needle or that he unravled a few rows, but I decided to retire the needles for a little while.

I have taken up a new hobby that has a much less need to be "protected" at all times- Stamping! And, I've actually found it to be rather therapeutic! I get to rekindle the creativity I swear I left in 5th grade and make something that yields a fairly speedy result. I'm also starting to dabble in scrapbooking. It's something I've wanted to do for a while, but felt kind of lost about. I once stood in the scrapbooking aisle of Michaels for an hour and a half and left with NOTHING! But, with some lessons in color theory and some sample layouts, I'm going to give it a go! And, I get to incorporate all of my stamps, inks, and embellishments! Yippie!

The kids are growing up so quickly. Cole is almost 2 (though the "terrible twos" have set in a LONG time ago!) and Mason is 7! Some days Mason walks into the room and I swear he looks like he's 16 already! Cole is very whinny and not talking much. He has words here and there, but truly speaks a language all his own! He loves the "kitty" to pieces, though he doesn't quite realize that she doesn't like to have her tail pulled. Thankfully, "kitty" (AKA Gracie) is very tolerant of her toddler counterpart and somehow finds the strength to put up with it. Bless her heart.

I became a corporate trainer for my company (Athena's Home Novelties) and am the Connecticut Satellite Trainer! I love my new position! I get to not only offer new Goddesses a closer and easier location to train, but I also get to shape and train the future of our company. I treasure that opportunity and priveledge. I'm still doing my parties 2-4 times a week and that's going well too! I actually met my 2005 goal of being in the top 10 for sales in a month! In June, I placed 4th in the entire company! I'm hoping to do that again in 2006!

I think that about sums it all up! Here's to a New Year!
