Knit my world...

Well, I decided, quite out of the blue really, to learn to knit. Now, when I think "knitting," visions of my grandmother fly through my head and I wonder what ever possessed me to choose to take up such a hobby, but it's really rather exciting. Now, I made this decision a little over a month ago and began knitting a fun fur scarf (the eyelash yarn). Finding the time to sit and do it is a challenge, and even harder is pulling myself away from the computer to make the time! I think I was also dreading finishing the scarf, because after that, what on earth would I make?! As I perused the knitting section a Michael's, I wasn't too impressed with the avalable patterns, to say the least. It was full of ugly sweaters I would never wear and wierd hats. Then, in a search on the web for more comprehensive lessons than the book I bought, I found MagKnits! What a cool bunch of patterns! Now I'm dying to get my hands on some new needles and yarn and knit, knit, KNIT!

Blah, Blah, Blog!

Ah...a Blog. Quite reminiscent of the days spent scribbling my life down in a blank journal, with no lock and key, blindly trusting no one would stumble upon my heartfelt, private thoughts...the exception being that I am older, wiser (I *hope*), and have the vast understanding that the internet is much lacking the "lock and key" as well. I have, however, come to terms with that fact and hope, if anything, that you find my meandering experience to be an interesting read, and if not, at the very least make your life seem that much better!
